GROVELAND 一 Town Administrator Rebecca Oldham and Water and Sewer Superintendent Colin Stokes are pleased to announce that a limited number of free rain barrels will be available to help residents conserve water.
The Town of Groveland would like to invite community members to participate in the Groveland Shorelines Cleanup event.
The event, sponsored by Clean River Project, will focus on cleaning Groveland’s shorelines and educating about Clean River Project’s mission to preserve the Merrimack River and its surrounding environment.
The public is invited to join the cleanup on Saturday, July 30 and Saturday, Aug. 13 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Those who would like to volunteer are asked to email info@cleanriverproject.org with their name, phone number, and number of people that will be volunteering in their party. Volunteers will meet at Pines Recreation Area, 222 Main St..
Local businesses or community groups that would like to be involved can book dates on Aug. 1-5 or Aug. 15-19. To book a date, groups are asked to call Clean River Project at 978-857-6680.
