Town of Groveland Seeks Part-Time Library Assistant for Langley-Adams Library

The Town of Groveland announces that it is seeking a qualified, part-time Library Assistant for the Langley-Adams Library. 

The Library Assistant will interact with patrons at the circulation desk, process and catalogue new items, process interlibrary loan materials, and perform clerical work. Other tasks may include preparing displays and bulletin boards, preparing crafts for story times, writing reviews of books or other materials, shelf reading, and more.

Applicants should be able to work as part of a team, but also be able to work independently on projects assigned by the Library Director, Youth Services Librarian, or the Adult Services Librarian. Applicants should also be able to work effectively with the public, and be adaptable to new technology, software, procedures, and policies.

The Library Assistant will work 18.5 hours per week, and must work at least one night per week and alternating Saturdays. Pay is $16.18 per hour, with no benefits.
