*MEDIA ADVISORY* Groveland Historical Society Invites Community to Holiday Open House

GROVELAND – The Groveland Historical Society would like to invite community members to a Holiday Open House this weekend. 

WHEN:

Saturday, Dec. 16 at 2 p.m. 

WHERE:

Washington Hall, 101 Washington St., Groveland 

WHAT:

The Groveland Historical Society is holding a Holiday Open House for residents and community members.  

The band, Little Green Line, will be performing holiday music and refreshments will be provided.  

Residents and community members are encouraged to come and enjoy an afternoon of holiday fun.

Town of Groveland Seeking Applicants for Summer Program Director

GROVELAND – Town Administrator Rebecca Oldham would like to share that the Town of Groveland is hiring a Summer Program Director.  

The Summer Program Director will lead the program at the Bagnall Elementary School throughout the summer, overseeing and managing 20-40 staff members and 100-200 children over the 8-week program. 

The director will be responsible for the implementation and planning of daily activities and field trips.  

The pay is $26-$35 per hour depending on experience, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.  

Applicants must possess a high level of energy, strong work ethic and have administrative experience.

Town of Groveland Invites Residents to Housing Forum

GROVELAND – Town Administrator Rebecca Oldham would like to share that the Town of Groveland is hosting a Housing Forum for residents to join the housing conversation.  

WHEN: 

Tuesday, Dec. 19 from 6-7:30 p.m. 

WHERE:

Groveland Town Hall, 183 Main St.  

WHAT: 

The Town of Groveland is hosting a housing forum in collaboration with the Merrimac Valley Planning Commission, for residents to join the conversation around housing needs in Groveland.  

This is an opportunity for residents to learn, ask questions and provide feedback on housing strategies.  

The topics that will be discussed are ways to diversify housing stock and increase affordable housing options, including the use of 150 Center Street and Section3A (MBTA Communities) and more.  

Refreshments will be provided.
