Town of Groveland Seeks Youth Services Librarian for Langley-Adams Library

GROVELAND 一 The Town of Groveland announces that it is seeking a qualified, full-time Youth Services Librarian for the Langley-Adams Library. 

The new Youth Services Librarian will be responsible for assisting in planning, implementing, and managing library services for children and teen programs. The candidate must have an aptitude for working with people, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to organize, and the ability to work with children. 

A Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience in education is preferred. The candidate must have knowledge of professional library methods, children’s and teen literature, and reference resources and practices, as well as proficiency in the use of computers, especially with regards to web and bibliographic resources. Experience with Symphony by SirsiDynix is preferred. 

Pay is $19.87 per hour with a 37.5-hour work week, plus benefits.
