Groveland Council on Aging Announces January, February Programs and Events

GROVELAND – Director Alyssa Lee and Assistant Director Nisha Burke are pleased to share Groveland Council on Aging’s January and February programs and events. 

The Groveland Council on Aging offers older adult residents a variety of programs and events each month. January and February activities include: 

Van Trips 

Tuesday, Jan. 16 at 9 a.m. 

Monday, Jan. 29 at 9 a.m. 

Thursday, Feb. 8 at 10:40 a.m

Monday, Feb. 26 at 9 a.m. 

Movie Monday’s Town Hall Center Hall Meeting Room at 11 a.m.  

Monthly Mélange – Classes are Free, please RSVP 

Saturday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m.: OmDrum Circle 

Monday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m.: Floral Harmony 

Health and Wellness Classes 

Tuesdays at 9 a.m., 3B Fitness: Bones, Brains & Balance: 

Tuesdays at 1 p.m. on Jan. 30 and Feb. 13: Indoor Ping Pong and Corn Hole: 

Thursdays at 10 a.m. on Jan. 4, Jan. 18, Feb. 1, and Feb. 8: Meditation & Mindfulness Classes in Center Hall Meeting Room 

Fridays at 10:45am: Yoga with Mary Van Abs in the Center Meeting Room in Town Hall

Meals on Wheels ($2 per meal, billed directly to the individual): 

Monthly Luncheons ($5 per person and RSVP required)

Residents can also sign-up for a new Council on Aging Key Tag that will allow residents to sign-up for programs online or in-person at the touch screen kiosk at the COA office.
